Understanding and Resolving Conflict

Conflict is a normal aspect of human interaction and something that you may encounter as a volunteer / volunteer engagement professional. 

This session provides discussion and hands-on activities to better prepare you to identify, address and resolve conflict. When proactively applied, these tools can enhance communication and build better relationships with others. Specifically, during this session, you will:

• Recognize different types of conflict
• Identify the benefits of resolved conflict and recognize the hindrances of unresolved conflict
• Apply conflict resolution steps to conflict scenarios
