March 2020 Member Meeting & Workshop

Presenter: Bryce Lord, Associate Director, Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management

Everybody tells us we need it. Every supervisor expects it. But nobody can completely tell us what it is. What exactly is “Professional Development”? And how can we pursue (and document!) a pattern of growth to navigate our way up the ladder of success?

In this discussion, we’ll clarify the various ways nonprofit professionals can think about personal and professional achievements as they move through their careers. And in addition, we’ll look at the variety of resources available in our region, and ways to connect that can prove valuable and long-lasting.
