General Recommendations
  • Don’t panic. Generally, the disease is spread from person to person. If you have not been within six feet of someone who has it, your chances of contracting it are low.
  • If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your health care provider before seeking care.
  • Stay home: here are the CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 if you’re sick as well as caring for yourself at home.
  • Plan a video visit: consult with your insurance provider and/or local pharmacy, or CVS/Walgreens for pricing/options.
  • Only call 911 if you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms or are having an emergency (make sure to tell them about your symptoms and travel history).
