General Recommendations
- Don't panic. Generally, the disease is spread from person to person. If you have not been within six feet of someone who has it, your chances of contracting it are low.
- Call your healthcare provider before seeking care if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as a cough or difficulty breathing.
- Stay home: here are the CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 if you're sick and care for yourself at home.
- Plan a video visit: consult with your insurance provider and local pharmacy or CVS/Walgreens for pricing/options.
- Only call 911 if you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms or have an emergency (make sure to tell them about your symptoms and travel history).
